Great Value Inn Houston/Galleria

Staff was nice and helpful, the hotel was so quiet and barely see others.

Breakfast was so basic, only donuts with coffee/milk! not even cornflakes..

Great experience there. Perfect base for traveling to Houston and exploring local places. Clean unit in good condition. Particularly good and favourable location, close to everything of convenience.

Location; staff moved us from a room filled with mold to second floor; pool was clean

Rooms for 2:00 check in were not ready untill almost 4:00 P.M.; none of the appliances were hooked up

The "non smoking" room had a heavy smoke smell. The cereal and milk tasted awful and the donuts were frozen.

Its rooms are cleaned on a daily basis and come with soap as well as cell phone. The price is US$ 59.

We were kinda surprised by the warmth and attention from the staff, who met our every request swiftly. The proximity to the trendy Galleria shopping area. Don't miss the good breakfast options at the onsite café. They'll kickstart your day perfectly!

Location met our needs

When we arrived there was no toilet paper, no towels and no remote to the television. We could smell pot in the air.

Torn wallpaper and strong odors permeated the space. Upon entering, the room was missing essential items like towels and hygiene products. The television only offered one functioning channel, and the room itself was plagued with stains and dirt. There were French pastries available, the only highlight of the stay, but the poor conditions overshadowed any potential enjoyment.

convenient access to parks and fine arts nearby

I had such a great stay where I was just a short 3 km from the Fine Arts Museum and with several parks only a few steps away, making my weekend strolls enjoyable and rich with landmark discoveries.

Basic visit

Rooms were clean and had great amenities like air conditioning and a private bathroom. The location was just a short ride from downtown. The continental breakfast was super disappointing with only a couple of dry donuts and some cereal options. Definitely needed better variety.

We visited the Houston Zoo and Children's Museum. The place was clean and safe, and the staff was super friendly. It's right by the highway, made getting around easy. Great value for the price, and we loved the cozy atmosphere!

Minor maintenance on the TV would make this place even better.
